Make Architects designed an impressive pavilion to operate as a community run café. It forms the heart of the newly created, award-winning Aldgate Square, which has transformed the former chaotic Aldgate gyratory into a welcoming green space for the public.

Design and complete fit out of the 325m2 café
building, built over a disused subway.
Our Scope of Works
From base construction ground membrane systems, British Gypsum drylining systems and partitions, polished concrete underfloor heating and safety vinyl floor along with entrance matting, metal ceiling lay-in suspended ceiling systems right the away through to the beautiful Bespoke ceiling panelling and joinery items, servery counter, shelving units and timber panelling to ground floor café pod together with corner benches and IPS units and all internal finishes including decoration, tiling and stainless steel worktops.
